Cassandra Purdy is the CEO and award winning product developer of Sweetgrass Botanicals Dispensary.
Before opening the dispensary, Cassandra worked as a book translator and editor for a publishing house that specialized in plant medicine, shamanism and entheogens. For more than 30 years, she has been immersed both in a literary and practical sense, in that world. She has participated in ceremonies and retreats in India, Mexico, and Europe, facilitating and holding space.
Her interest in cannabis is just part of her fascination with plants and healing. One of the primary goals of Sweetgrass Botanicals is to grow community through education around these subjects and she hopes the Berkshire Mushroom Festival will become a beloved annual event.
