Mia Maltz is an Assistant Professor of Mycology at University of Connecticut. She is a University of California Presidential Fellow in Environmental and Biomedical Science. She completed her Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California Irvine and is the co-founder of the nonprofit CoRenewal.
